Five CCHA games will hit the airwave including three on Hockey Day in Michigan February 14.
Fox Sports Detroit will air two CCHA hockey games back-to-back to celebrate Hockey Day in Michigan on February 14. Michigan State will host Ohio State in the early game starting at 5:05 p.m. The Michigan Wolverines will finish off the doubleheader as they face off against Nebraska-Omaha at 8:00 p.m. Also look for CCHA All-Access on Fox Sports Detroit with a new episode airing on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and will re-air at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
The Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan State Spartans will also be on TV Friday night on the Big Ten Network with all the action starting at 7:05 p.m.
Also on Friday night CBS College Sports will air the Northern Michigan Wildcats trip to South Bend, Ind., to meet up with the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame starting at 8:05 p.m.
This week the Comcast TV Saturday night game of the week is Ferris State at Bowling Green starting at 7:05 p.m. and is available on channel 900.
This is the 17th CTV broadcast for the 2008-09 season. Twenty-two conference games, including a pair of playoff contests, form the nucleus of Comcast Television's Saturday night CCHA Game of the Week package.
Ben Holden will serve as the play-by-play voice for CTV with game analysis provided by former CCHA player Lyle Phair. Art Regner serves as intermission host and sideline reporter for all broadcasts.
This will be Fox Sports Detroit’s eighth and ninth televised CCHA contests with the Detroit Red Wing duo of Ken Daniels, play-by-play, and Mickey Redmond, analysis, calling the Michigan game and Matt Shepard, play-by-play, and CCHA Associate Commissioner Fred Pletsch providing in-game analysis in East Lansing.
The duo of Matt McConnoll, play-by-play, and Dave Starman, game analysis, will be in the booth for the CBS College Sports broadcast.
